Give this hummus recipe a try, and you'll never want store-bought again! Paired with fresh veggies and pita, it makes for a delightful appetizer or snack.
Paprikared pepper flakes, and/or fresh parsley, for garnish
Warm pita breadand/or veggies, for serving
Instructions
Combine the chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and sea salt in a high-speed blender. Blend the mixture until it achieves a creamy, smooth texture, using the blender baton to assist and adding water gradually to reach the desired consistency.
Once the hummus is thoroughly blended and smooth, transfer it to a serving plate. Enhance its presentation by sprinkling paprika, red pepper flakes, and/or fresh parsley over the top. Serve with warm pita bread and a variety of fresh vegetables, as preferred.
